Every year, wildfires emerge in California, it is a cycle of nature, making the way for new avenues of life among the plants and animals. In the past few years, there seems to be an occurrence of wildfires that is severer in intensity than the year before. Some of this might be attributed to climatic condition changes.
This year, is something serious, and might require efforts that are beyond just another wildfire season bumped up in the number of acres that needs to be controlled.
What has been going on for the past couple of days are heat and fires that look like they are from another dimension, with no mercy.
Rolling out high caliber technology, even if from states outside California, might be among solutions.
Major areas affected are Yolo, Lake, and Colusa Counties. The acreage is over 100,000, at minimum, about 135,000 the number a consensus to consider; -- with the amount of heat, the actual acreage that is in danger is larger than that.
Evacuations have been taking place.

There are numerous wildfires in California alight as we speak, exacerbated in force due to drought conditions. Alaska seeing much land under wildfire, almost every region, except the very north and southeastern, roughly 30 wildfires currently raging. According to the LA Times article published today, conditions as anticipated, '
1,000 more California wildfires than usual in 2014, and fire season just started', California is having to contend with a record number of wildfires, a huge jump from last year.

What has been witnessed about the largest wildfires, during the summer of 2012 , is the locations of these wildfires on the continental U.S. in the beginning of the summer were toward the center of the United States, such as Colorado and near the Great Lakes.
